We had special visitors from Thorton Burgess. There were 5 stations set up around the room. Each station was filled with different items, animals and activities that helped us learn many fascinating facts about how animals use their senses in nature. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you PTA for sponsoring this exciting event!! |

The bulbs that the children planted many, many months ago have bloomed! It is so nice to see beautiful spring flowers outside our classroom window instead of snow!! :)
The students participated in a Health Fair at SES organized by our school nurse, Gayle Tracy. Stations were set up around the school that focused on keeping ourselves healthy and safe. Representatives that were at the event were from the police and fire stations, local nurses and Mrs. Lachance, who read a story about food allergies. They gave demonstrations and speeches about ways to live a healthy lifestyle. Some of my favorite photographs are the ones of the children with the giant bar of soap! |
