Please remember to check out our class "Blog" at the top of this home page. It features recent class events and projects that your child has been involved with during the school day. Please feel free to add a comment or to help your child add a comment on the blog. The comment will not appear right away. I need to first approve the comment. This eliminates the possibility of an inappropriate comment appearing on our blog. :) Thank you for all your support. Chris Trombly
All school supplies will be provided, however, here is an optional list of items your child may find helpful having extra of to keep in their own desk. What do you WONDER about??
Reading each night is so important. The children bring home a book from school in their book bag each night. (Monday-Thursday) This will usually be a book that they have already read in school with a teacher and they should be rereading it to someone so they can practice their reading fluency. If it's a book that they haven't read yet, they can use their reading strategies to figure out any tricky words. Their reading strategies are listed on the back of the reading folder in their bag. Happy reading!!
